Shukti Bhasma (also known as Muktashukti Bhasma) is a traditional Ayurvedic preparation made from the “Mother of Pearl” or Pearl Oyster shell. It is a natural, highly bioavailable source of calcium and minerals.

Composition & Preparation

• Primary Ingredient: Purified Pearl Oyster shells (Shukti).

• Process: The shells are purified (Shodhana) in herbal juices like Aloe Vera or Lemon juice, then incinerated (Marana) at high temperatures to create a micro-fine, biocompatible white ash.

• Nature: Sweet and pungent in taste; it balances Pitta and Kapha doshas.
