Darar Malam is a proprietary Ayurvedic topical ointment manufactured by Aishwarya Enterprises.

It is specifically formulated to treat various skin conditions, with a particular focus on cracked heels and fungal infections.

Detailed Ingredient Information

• Shuddha Gandhak (Purified Sulphur): A powerful anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agent used to treat skin diseases and prevent infections.

• Shuddha Tankan (Purified Borax): Acts as a natural antiseptic and helps in soothing irritated skin.

• Yashad Bhasma (Zinc Calx): Promotes skin healing and provides a protective barrier against moisture and irritants.

• Siktha Taila (Wax-based oil): The base of the ointment, which provides deep moisturization to soften hard, cracked skin.

Key Therapeutic Benefits

• Cracked Heels: Effectively softens the thick, dry skin of the heels and fills in deep cracks to promote faster healing.

• Fungal Infections: Useful in managing “Dhobi Itch,” ringworm, and athlete’s foot due to its potent anti-fungal properties.

• Skin Irritation: Provides relief from itching, redness, and burning sensations associated with various skin ailments.

• Eczema & Psoriasis Support: Sometimes used as a supportive application to soothe the dry, scaly patches characteristic of these conditions.

Precautions

• External Use Only: This ointment is strictly for topical application; avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth.

• Clean Application: Always wash and dry the affected area (especially feet) thoroughly before applying the malam for better absorption.

• Sensitivity: If you experience increased redness or a persistent burning sensation after application, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

• Staining: Due to the herbal and mineral content, the ointment may stain socks or clothing; it is often recommended to wear old cotton socks after applying to the heels.
